Easy Ink Blending Techniques

So I finished my AECP class number 4, Easy Ink Blending Techniques, thought by Amy Lee just before Easter.   But, if you did see my previous post, before I managed to post my class projects, my Easter vacation went a little different than I planed.  So.... here are my class projects.

Watercolor Bouquet Stencil

Here I used Watercolor Bouquet stencil, makeup brushes, and some mini inks.  After blending my ink with my brushes, I cleaned them by rubbing them on some baby wipes.  I then used my ink blending tools to color my card in the green color I needed for my background.   For finishing touches I used my black pen for some framing. And adding some pink sequins made the card done.

And then some pink sequins from my stash.

Happy Bloom

Well, for this card I made a little mistake :) After stamping the flowers on some watercolor paper, I used the Altenew ink for some watercolor effect.  After coloring my flowers, I used some Altenew ink spray in Jet Black, but forgot to check if it was dried before I turned the card over, so the ink got all smooch around :(

Supplies:

Book Club

For this card I used the Book club stamp, stamped with Altenew embossing ink and Altenew pure white embossing powder on water color paper.
I then used the inks to watercolor the flowers.   Ended up with my ink tool and some green ink for the etches

So I’ve been a little busy for the couple of days.
My 7 year old daughter broke her ankle the day before our Easter vacation.  So, for those 10 days, we spent at our summer house, she was wearing a cast, and not allowed to step on her foot, so crutches and pampering for her all Easter.
On Tuesday, she went back to ER, and got her new cast, this time a purple walking cast…
So that being walking cast, she asked her doctor if she could dance on this cast, and the doctor said if she would be careful... So on Thursday she participated in her ballet show … with a doctors permission!

Clean and Simple Boutique cards 2

So, in previous post, I posted two cards done with Beautiful day stamp set and with Golden Feather stamps....  Now I have two cards where I use Birthday greetings stamp set on both,  one in white on craft paper and one in color on white paper.

I did the white/craft paper card first, but totally forgot to take process pictures, so I decided
to make another one, and see how it would come out in color.
I think I like the white on craft paper better...

Thanks for stopping by :)

Clean and Simple Boutique cards

For the past days I've been taking Clean and Simple Boutique cards at the Altenew Academy, taught by Jennifer Rzasa.  I really enjoyed taking this class, even though my cards did not come out as I would have liked them to be...  :)

But even though they didn't come out as I planed,  I kinda got so carried away making them that I forgot to take pictures of the process.....  So, for 2 of my cards I have process pictures and for 2 of them I don't,  I will show you the cards any way, since one of them is done in similar way as one of the card with process pictures.
My first card is cased after card done by Jen, but I had a little difficulty with my foiling machine

Wish you the most beautiful day

Supplies:

Silver reactive foil
Laminator

Another card I did was this feather card, with Icelandic saying "Congratulations" but I don´t have any process pictures for that card...
