Next on my list, on my AECP journey, is Celebration Stencil Technique class, by Laurel Beard.
I had this beautiful flower stamped and colored on my table,
so I decided to use that one, and got some watercolor paper out from my stash and my lovely purple mini ink cubes from Altenew
I then proceeded to smooch my ink on my craft mat in irregular patterns, spritz it with water and smooch my paper down.
I wasn't satisfied with the colors so I smooched it down again until I was happy :)
Then it was time to use my stencil... I didn't tape it down because I was just going to "use" the middle part of the paper.
I took some of the Altenew paste, mixed it with some white glimmer and spread it on my paper/stencil
Usually when I use the paste I let it dry overnight but I didn't have time for that now, so I decided to dry the paste with my heat gun... I just had to be careful and to dry in short time on front (so the paste don't burn) and from the back, to try to minimal warping of the paper.
I then took my stamped flower, cut it out and stuck down some 3D tape, mounted it to my card front, and that's my card done!
Supplies:
