Let it Shine... part 1

OK, the show must go on :)

I just finished the class Let it Shine, toughed by Carissa Wiley.

I had the most fun times making the cards for this class, and while sitting in my craft space, brainstorming about the cards for this class, I started playing with my newest order from the lovely Altenew, mainly all the new washi tapes.

So, while playing with the new washi tapes, the cards almost made them their self LOL and before I knew, I hadn't made 3 cards but 4!

I will be breaking them up in 4 blog posts and here is number 1.

Botanical Rhapsody

I really like how this card turned out. I got so caught in the moment making this, that I forgot to take pictures.  But I started with my Gold String washi tape, and I have to say this one and the Botanical Rhapsody washi tapes are my absolutely favorite... sorry, got side tracked for a minute, yes, like I was saying, I put my Gold String washi at an angle and then some of the Gold Trim washi tape at the top and bottom of the Gold String one.

Then I took some of the flowers I already had colored and fuzzy cut out from the Botanical Rhapsody washi tape and glued them on with foam tape.

And the finished card is so pretty... :)
