Let the Shine... part 3

OK, the show must go on :)
I just finished the class Let it Shine, toughed by Carissa Wiley.
I had the most fun times making the cards for this class, and while sitting in my craft space, brainstorming about the cards for this class, I started playing with my newest order from the lovely Altenew, mainly all the new washi tapes.

So, while playing with the new washi tapes, the cards almost made them their self LOL and before I knew, I hadn't made 3 cards but 4!

I will be breaking them up in 4 blog posts and here is number 3.

Gold framed flower card.

I first die cut this frame out of Gold cardstock from Altenew...

I then got out this background panel I had previously done with watercolor paper and some ink smooching using blue and purple Altenew ink and some Altenew iridescent ink spray.

I decided to glue some vellum behind the frame to add some interest behind my flowers.

Then it was time to add the flowers.  I used the Botanical Rhapsody Washi tape and added some color to the Flowers and the leaves  using my Altenew markers. I then popped the flowers and the leaves up with some foam tape.

And since the background paper was watercolor cardstock I decided to use my red line tape to be sure it would stay put on my card base :)
