Let it Shine... part 2

OK, the show must go on :)
I just finished the class Let it Shine, toughed by Carissa Wiley.
I had the most fun times making the cards for this class, and while sitting in my craft space, brainstorming about the cards for this class, I started playing with my newest order from the lovely Altenew, mainly all the new washi tapes.

So, while playing with the new washi tapes, the cards almost made them their self LOL and before I knew, I hadn't made 3 cards but 4!

I will be breaking them up in 4 blog posts and here is number 2.

Botanical Rhapsody Lily

This card was so much fun to make.  I started off by sticking my Deco Wallpaper stencil down on my card panel,

then it was time to mix my new Altenew embossing Paste, some white glimmer and couple spritz of Lavender Fields Metallic shimmer ink spray together

and then spread it all over my stencil. After that I ran my stencil straight to the sink to wash out the rest of the paste, so it wouldn't stick to my stencil.  To be on the safe side, I decided to let my card panel dry fully over night.

Next day, when my card panel was dry, I took some Altenew vellum and die cut it out with some stitch frame die I had in my stash.

I then decided to use some silver glimmer paper I had and cut 1/2" strip.

then it was time to add in the flower...  I took the Botanical Rhapsody washi tape, colored this Lily like flower with my Altenew markers and fuzzy cut it out.

after figuring out where I wanted the leaves to be, I glued the flower and the leaves down with some foam tape, and behind that I put the glue on the vellum to stick that down on my card panel.

For the finishing touches I glued down the silver glimmer strip and glued the card front on my card base.
